Cleaning Cooling Towers

A unique acid scale inhibitor, in dry powder, for cooling towers and evaporative condensers, and it is extremely effective in hard or highly alkaline water. SX-6 contain a  scale Inhibitor that is stable for cooling towers and does not form any orthophosphate sludge.

SX-6 is an inhibited acid in dry powder form for removal and dispersion of soluble deposits such as calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, iron oxide, iron sulfide or any combination of these materials.
Sx-6 contains a corrosion inhibitor to decrease the corrosive action of the acid on metal and a wetting agent to remove hydrocarbons from deposits.
Sx-6 concentrations from 5 to 15 % by weight are recommended.
Sx-6 is manufactured for on-line cleaning of open recirculation water systems. Its primary use is cleaning of the open side of chilled water cooling systems.
Sx-6 is a combination of penetrating and dispersing agents, acids and patented inhibitors. It is free rinsing, non-fuming and odorless. It will effectively clean the entire open water side cooling system, without system shut down.
